I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Okay after parts got here I started with the cockpit as always, I added parts from a skycrane kit to "detail" it.the skycrane parts are the gunship grey parts.

I had to scratch a chair because the dyne was missing one, but here it is in the fusalage

I had to mate the boom operater section in I think thats what they are called

Thanks for looking

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

No pics right now but progress has been made some, I been trying to figure out what paint scheme to go with, firefighting (the helicopters transport service one), or a vietnam one. I will work on it as soon as I get home today.

Thanks

Interesting idea! Another "why didn't I think of that" project. I'll be checking in on this one.
Army in Vietnam would be just OD green. Why not something more colorful? Arctic resupply of radar sites with big orange panels might work.

This will be interesting as I've got the Revell and Airfix kits in my stash.

Well most of the scratch building has been done.

Here is one next to it's american cousin.

Still lots to do but I thought I would get something on here. Still trying to figure out what paint scheme to do it in.

Thanks

Now that is SOMETHING ELSE!

Can't wait to see the fnished article, a Rotodyne variant that's never been seen before.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Well progress is slow (still no pics) but the wings and tailplane have been attached and it is almost ready for paint! I am having to wait for some parts to get here so it might be a week at max.

Thanks for looking

Great build,
I've done the reverse and added Dyne parts to my Revel S-64, taken from the Revel 1/78 kit and the rotor head & blades of the Airfix kit. I'll fit the Revel jet pods as they look better than the Airfix kit. The undercarriage will remain the same as on the S-64. Ironically my S-64 was already hand painted day-glo orange!!
