This Air Lines 1/72 Westland Wallace had no clear parts or decals. I paid 50 cents for it and I have a bunch of Stoppel small Air Force decals that I got for free. Cheap fun.

I scratchbuilt a gunner's position and a forward firewall. The kit motor looks strange, so I am using an Aeroclub Armstrong-Siddeley Panther white-metal motor.

More later.

Bargain!
Surely there wasn't much clear on that anyway and who uses the kit decals (on the kit they are meant for).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The Wooksta!

I've got one of those somewhere, although I can't think what I wanted to do with it.  Possibly a light transport.

Nice work.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

I'd go with a name change - Wessex or Westminster may be better and certainly more alliterative.

The Wooksta!

Just dug mine out.  Looks a neat little kit.  That's now on the build pile.

Note for the Wooksta:

Since an OOB Wallace couldn't be done with what was in the box, I thought Gromit was appropriate. Wallace goes with Gromit like toast and jam. I love the Nick Park films.

Based on the expression in that photo, perhaps Westland Wide-eye would be appropriate?

Finished. Westland Gromit light bomber, Persian Air Force, 1930s. Brush-painted Testors #1146 Silver. Rudder stripes are painted and I used wheels from a FROG Blackburn Shark. Persian decals from a Stoppel sheet.

I am very satisfied with my finished model.

VERY nice! I like it... Like she was draped with some really thick foil!   Kudos on that prop, too.
