Here is the Birthday gift I received from my dear wife's generosity (2 days after Xmas, my day being not forgotten)...:

I called it BiP-51D when I thought of it but I change my code to F-251:

I am seriously considering a twin-boom Mustang model (in early 2018), as easy as possible, with pieces of sprues. Either 1/72nd P-51D (7€) or else 1/144th P-51B (4€):

Truncation has started.

There will be no engine nor propeller in the nose, the power source being secret and mysterious...

News:
- putty on the nose
- putty on the fin base
- truncated wings, shorter (sorry PR19_Kit...)
- removed belly scoop
- putty and drop tank to make a new rear behind the pilot

Interesting, needs lots of putty! You'll get there!

My crystal ball tells me there is a lot of PSR coming up in 2018

Thanks. For a what-ifer, intriguing is good!
I have PSR-ed a little more to improve the parabolic shape of the nose, and I have cut the wing chord, to install shorter wings:

Then, less pleasant, is a piece of hard work, making a new bottom of the pod. First: butty basis before addition later...

The PSR work is now completed (sigh of relief)...
