This will be the place for your finished builds

Thought I'd better unlock this in case Dizzy's finnished  ;)

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I did not dare to ask myself...  ;D But I will take my time, ETA roundabout Saturday, and then beauty pics next Sunday, just in time.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

XP-79B "Flyrin Ram" RAE Farnborough, 1946.

What if WWII hadn't wrapped up in 1945? What if Northrop sent a flying wing type contraption to the RAE for trials?

This thing is nutty! Made out magnesium.....   the pilot lays down to fly it, etc. One of Northrop's lesser known wing(ish) designs. One of the main goals was to have it actually fly through enemy bombers as a means of destroying them.  :o :o :o

It's the 1/72 RS Models XP-79B, painted with cheap acyrlics with hairy stick. OOB with no mods other than slight deviation from painting instructions (which are fiction anyway . .. . ).

This was a lot of fun!!!! Short run kit but I think it's very nice! I recommend it, fo sho!  I'd like more myself if I can find them cheap enough.  ;D

Vote is mentioned in title of this thread. Why? :-\
Will die without understanding this world.

NARSES2

When I set the thread up I thought it might be easier to have the Poll included in the same thread as the pictures of the finished models. Sorry if it confuses.

It's up to Kitbasher whether he intends to do it that way or set up a separate thread.

Ok.  Here's my entry - the 1/144 MiG-27 trio "Operation: Bloody Screw".  Thanks for tuning in.

The "work-in-progress" thread is here: http://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php/topic,45335.0.html

I know we're really only supposed to post 3 pics in the final presentation thread, but the last one is just for size reference.
Thanks!
