Captain Canada

Hi guys,
This is the first Meteor I've ever built. Neat aeroplane ! I decided to do her as an EWU bird, with that big fat beak, I could hardly resist ! Added the tip tanks from a T-bird, and some bits and bobs to simulate the way a Clunker looked in this role.

And here she is at Baden-Baden awaiting another sortie

Thanks guys ! I should take a pic of the underside....the tanks are modified to be chaff dispensers like the Clunk had.

The BUSINESS!  ;D

A Meteor is very much a smaller Canberra, you can do ANYTHING with it and it still looks right. RCAF colours really suit it for sure.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Very nice Todd, I like that   Did you get the decals from CanMilAir?
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Silver Fox

Fantastic! Captures the look of the EW Clunk... but as a Meteor, absolutely perfectly.

Amazing how well our markings suit the Meteor.  Very nice work, Captain.

It is so perfect it cannot be What-if creation at all but must be full JMN tedious work >:(
One of the pictures above is not scale model but true-life scale 1, and this has nothing to do in a what-if forum. I am going to complain, photographic evidence will decide: this is not Photoshop at all but real, yes! I swear and many visitors will confirm.
I know, I know, some advocate will show a listing "proving" (to naive believers) that Canada never operated Meteor. Bullshit: the answer is "top secret" evidence. Like the USAF listings "proved" the stealth did not exist (...before it became public)... I will win this trial. Canuck Meteor(s) did exist, and this above is the very proof.
(joke ;D )
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

I LOVE it!

I mean, it ain't a Clunk but it's still real cool!

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

Actually, Canada did operate Meteors; exactly four (three F3s and a T4), to be exact.

A T4? What's a Meteor T4?  :o

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Is nice!!!  And such an obvious take on the Meatbox I'm surprised we've not seen one before (well, to the best of my knowledge, that is).  wish I'd thought of it - well done.   ;D ;D
