Looking at some of the design concepts I want to know what they were on ??? A lot of them would look right at home on this site in the "weird and whacky" section.

Very good book, just hope Tony now turns his attention to the 1930/1945 period

I saw that at Telford last year. Very nice but as you say expensive. I think Duncan bought it ?

What proposal/design is that on the front cover?

I've got that US Navy Special Whiffs book too, but I dare not tell how much it cost me. It was at a sale at Hay-on-Wye, and I think it was the ONLY aviation book in the whole town! Mrs PR19 spotted it, little darling that she is.  ;)

Duncan's 100% correct though, it's STUFFED with totally bizarre ideas, I think they must all have been on some LSD derivative at the time! Of all the projects mentioned in there the only one to make RW status was the A3D Slywarrior too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
