All
Just spent part of today at the East of Scotland model show or Dundee model show 2010 with TSR Joe. Bototm line is that this show needs supported, although there was a pretty good turnout for such a small show and hall, there was room for a few more tables let alone a couple more traders. Maybe next year we can display some what if and Research and development, ok some may find the distance a bit much but one trader came up from Kent and the input from some of the Scottish clubs etc was pathetic to say the least. Even if some of the What if and Research SIG members from North of the border put on a couple of tables that fills the hall a bit more. On the flip side it could have been promoted a bit better but this years show had more in it than the last one I attended 2 years ago I think. Lets also add that there were some bargains to be had as well.
Food for thought guys!!
Cheers
Sandy

Note the flashing blur as he pounces on yet another bargain....lol
we had a nice day there, so maybe next year there can be a What if table? etc.

a good day out, def agree it couldv been supported more by the 'local' clubs tho  , a really good selection of traders in attendance, was great seeing Adrian from Lone Wulf, Aviation Workshop, MDC. (im stil tempted by their Ar.234 n 1/32 scale!), Alistairs' Azee models, Little Cars, etc to name just a few, some good bargains to be had too from some of the private traders selling off parts of their stash and kit collections on behalf of others
the competition was reasonably well represented by the local club members, it being primarily a local show but one which i will hopefully be attending with a table next year on behalf of the 'project cancelled and what-if sig's.'

cheers, Joe

Nor did I, not that I could have got there. There are quite a few shows that come and go without notice  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I don't blame the camera shake -- those Whif-verns make my knees start to tremble -- will have to rush down to the shop & get several more Trumpeter kits !
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

I'm not sick ... just a little unwell.
