I was crossing the Gulf of Corinth one April and two Phantoms did just that...got their speed wrong with resulting damage to several cars. Wonder if the pilots got a bollocking ;D The noise was fantastic :thumbsup:.

Yes it was.  And if the RAAF is like the USAF, i'm sure the crew certainly did.

Yes it was.  And if the RAAF is like the USAF, i'm sure the crew certainly did.

They were likely filling out F203 Loss and/or Damage Reports for a few days afterwards and given the toast of the Mess by the pilots...   :thumbsup:

Board of Survey would suggest replacing the buildings, rather than attempting to repair them.  The roof would more than likely lift off during the first Cyclone that came that way.   "Did a fair bit o' damage, guv'nor..."  Would no doubt be the comment.  The Range Staff would be rubbing their hands with glee at the prospect of new buildings...  ;)
