We will all have seven days to vote.  I'll announce when the vote is open and it will close automatically - results will be revealed at the end.  Just like we do for our political lords and masters, vote carefully.  ;D

Phew, that's the poll all set up - huge thanks to Old Wombat and Zenrat for their help in getting the format sorted.  I'd say they've set the standard for future polls!  In each case the first image in the 'completed build' entry has been used, rather than trying to decide which shot is best.  I felt this was the fairest way to go.

The 'In the Navy GB' poll ends 30 June so I will open the 1WGB poll on 1 July, at the moment somewhere between 0900-1200 BST (0800-1100 GMT/UTC).  It'll run for seven days, close automatically and at that point the results will be revealed.

I'll announce when the poll is open.  Meanwhile feel free to consider which build/drawing you'll be voting for, I've made my mind up already.

The poll is now open, folks.  Two votes each, use them wisely.  No spoilt ballot papers please!

It'll close exactly 7 days after it opened, at which point the results will be revealed.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The previous one-weekers have only had two votes per voter, matey.

The Wooksta!

Hateful proportional representation...

Should be a single vote.

26 voters yesterday - very much appreciated.

As tends to be the case with GB polls a bunch of builds have begun to pull away from the rest.  But it's early days and all could change on poll day 2.  It's in your hands, folks!

Could we not have updates in the style of horse racing  commentary?

As we're  coming up to the second day Lance has taken an early lead .

The Rafale is comin up fast in second place . It really has got the wind behind it .

And in Third we have this fine South American  thoroughbred from Italian stock  but neck and neck with the Scarab out of Hertfordshire . Unusual to see entries from this stable.  In the past they've dominated some of the cross country events   and you can certainly see this lineage in the Scarab although I believe its lineage contains a certain amount of Dray horses better known for their reliability and ability to pull a load . The Scarab has done well particularly in the Winter season but how she'll fair in this summer race is anyone's guess.

In the middle of the pack we see Butterfly and Penguin  jockeying  for position . Butterfly has the weight advantage but Penguin is more at home on wet ground . The long rivalry between butterfly and penguin continues on this July week which has seen changeable weather .
