Title: TTA Models?
Post by: Weaver on November 23, 2009, 05:20:35 AM
I'm not sure how up to date it is, but according to this website, they're working on three resin models of craft from the seminal Terran Trade Authority handbooks, in connection with the launch of an RPG based on the series.

If this is current news and the models are imminent then    :drink:

And if anyone's in touch with Sotoolslinger, who doesn't seem to be around here any more, then PLEASE let him know: he's mad keen on this stuff.

That's also our very own Dr. Yo who did the masters.

...and who learned a thing or two, but who really needs to re-make them before they're ready for casting.
The Bisbos site hasn't been updated, and although I sent our last e-mail change into the author, it never
got added, and thats been a couple years ago. "Bisbos" whose real name escapes me at the moment, was
somewhere in in the EU at the time, and also posted at the Secret Projects forum. ( He did some nice
renders of the utterly evil PLUTO nuclear ramjet bomber.)

Cheers Doc - I wasn't sure if it was "news" or not because the site doesn't have a Last Updated date, but the last News item was about the revised book being published and when you follow the link to Amazon, that was 2006! (Some less than complimentary reviews there too).

If Bisbos has indeed dropped the ball, it would be a pity to see the models vanish after all the work you've done and the interest that exists. Is there any chance of them being revived? (Yes I know it's probably tied up in licences and lawyers and such...)
