Title: My first compleate resin kit
Post by: lenny100 on April 27, 2010, 04:33:00 AM
Whell i thought it was time so i have taken the plundge and got my first complete resin kit
, an Anigrand sikorsky S-67 Blackhawk.

I opend the box and looked at the parts and it seems to be very nice , so here goes,   any help would be apreciated as i am going in blind ,
think i will start with the cockpit area, although this looks a bit empty so might add a few extra parts from my spare box

I often looked longingly at that kit on Arnolds pages Lenny, lovely machine, almost looks too pretty to be an attack helicopter.  British Army?

Got to admit I bit off more than I could chew with the Sukhoi T-4MS, some of the parts were mis-matched & I wasn't really prepared for it having not tackled resin before.  I think you'll do better!

no it will be in royal navy seaking markings from last years 100 years of naval aviation, as a partner aircraft for the jungle seakings use by the royal marines.

Yes, I've got a set you can have - PM me your address.

Is that LORAN "towel rail" aerial made from a MiG-21 pitot boom? Genius if it is.....

All this reminds me I was at Farnborough when the S-67 had that awful crash.  :o

I think both crew members were killed, sad to say, and so was the project.

Not to criticize, but shouldn't the "hot brick" jammer be closer to the exhausts?
