Title: Hawker Siddeley archives
Post by: Hobbes on August 26, 2011, 08:05:22 AM
I've been trying to find out more about the HS Dynamics SRAAM project. The Brooklands museum has most of the Hawker archive, but they had almost nothing on this project. Any ideas where else I could look?

Might still be largely classified.  IIRC it's the basis of the ASRAAM.

I think HSD. were based at Stevenage, not sure who holds their archive tho, possibly an enquiry to MBDA. there might yield results tho, what specifically are you after infowise? there is a dummy round at Cosford and somewhere in the files i have a brochure on it which has a piccie of a missile beneath a Hunter wing (iv nothing on the previous tube launched version tho unfortunately!)

cheers, Joe

Try MBDA, although not sure what they would have retained of legacy programs.
