Does anybody have one of the Lindberg 1/96 HP Victors? How big is it? Wingspan, length, etc?
You'll be lucky............
It'd be about 13" span and about 14" in length. To my mind the Frog one was better, but both are as rare as hen's teeth!
The Lindberg ones are fairly common on EvilBay, Kit.
Pretty sure the Lindberg one was re-issued a few years ago, so there should be some around.
It was rereleased in a Revell box years ago. I picked up a photo top one in Ibiza in 2001.
Are you sure that wasn't the old Matchbox 1/72 kit?
It's currently listed on Lindberg's website, albeit as 1/100: http://www.lindberg-models.com/air_model70565.html

As built the 1/96 Lindberg Victor measures as follows:

oveall. nose probe to tips of horizontal stab, 14 3/8inches, 361mm

Here is the boxing I just built- but as a SeaVictor.
