Well here is my new project,i had a panther hull and one old knocked out leopard 1 gepard,so why not mix them and make the worlds first radar controled AA gun,still a lot of work but it's beginning to take shape,it should look something like this when it's done:

You going to swap out the modern 35mm guns for WW2-era 40mm's/37mm's,& the solid targeting & search radar dishes for WW2 "antlers" & wire-frame to make it more "period"? ;)
yes definitely it will get downgrade of weapons and radar.

This is a pretty cool idea and back dating it make it even better ,,, for the gun chooses there; not much to choose from if our going to stick to WW2 German ... 37 or 50 mm ,,but thinking about it 50mm might look pretty good ,,the extra length of the guns would balance out the size of the vehicle and make it look a lot meaner too.
37,s might look too short ,,,just an idea for ya ,,also i really like the idea of mesh dish for the search radar with thick frames like seen on some German WW2 radars ,,ya this thing would look very cool indeed :thumbsup:

Nice project. An "open" dish antenna in the front and maybe a retro-style mesh-antenna at the back would look nice?
Instead of two big cannons (2x 37mm or even 50mm) a quadruple of 20mm cannons in two pairs coudl also look cool and different?

Well here is an update after 2 years of doing absolutely nothing ;D
original guns have been replaced with 40 mm,radar is a copy of german freya,still a lot of work but the hardest part is done.
