From HERE (https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=48706.msg911754#msg911754) I think my/our He-280 deserves another chance.
This looks very interesting 🤔 🙂
So I want to see more definitely 👍
One step forward then another step back at the moment. I fitted the nose gear to check alignment only for the area ahead of the gun tubes to disintegrate :banghead: rude words may have been invoked.
Structurally everything behind the instrument panel is solid, the nose ahead of the gun troughs is being rebuilt, the area in between is being surface finished and I've found most of the missing items, which is all good.
Progress will be reported in a few days....I promise that means days measured on planet Earth
That's a very interesting shape. Almost looks Crinson Skies.

I've had a search and see what you mean well spotted.
Well a productive few days has seen the nose rebuilt and then only 4 fill, sand, prime, and repeat cycles to get here.

Maintaining the one step forward and another back it looks like the wheel wells need a fettle

How I missed that before I'll never know. However not a real issue simply a challenge. Although hidden by the masking the seat rails have been replaced, the canopy rails added and the clearance to the seat checked.
I'm trying to decide whether to go for a RAFwaffe aircraft or a Luftwaffe scheme at the moment.
Captured. They lost.
Neat looking bird.
Looking good! Carry on!
That would look good in a FAA colour scheme..don't know why. :o ;D
