Scratch built a German full track APC from an old 38t panzer.

I've seen pics of a very similar design but it was sitting on a shortened Panther chassis.
This is a clean build and a nice use of the 38T chassis..I like it 👌 👍 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Phill, IIRC there were 2 designs (as usual for the Waffenamt) - one -38(d) based and t'other Panther/E-series based.

Still have plans (and A Plan) to do one someday, but time/energy/available bits... y'know, the usual story. :-\

Ahhh yeah I remember the 38T version now..ive seen a side profile of it .
Oh by the way I'm sure I can scrape up enough 38T parts for ya ..ive got a couple which are destined for parts  :thumbsup:

BT (buzzbomb) did a version of the Katzchen some years ago but I can't find it to link to anywhere. :-\

This is a nice clean build! The 38t is a good base for all sorts of mods.

Oh I know how you feel ...im buggered after clocking up over 500ks today ..left home at 6:05 am and got home at 6:05pm ..most of that driving .
