Quote from: AeroplaneDriver on May 15, 2023, 11:14:39 PMIs your name not Bruce then?  That's gonna cause a little confusion.

Mine is, at least when my brother messages me.  Predictive text changes Bruv to Bruce and he forgets to corrects it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Quote from: Wardukw on May 15, 2023, 10:58:06 AMA trick I use is when I meet someone I've already met I normally wait for someone to say there name and id that doesn't happen then it's just mate 😉

Works ok to a degree, problem comes with girls. At the end of our first date my ex said "you can't remember my name can you ?". I said "what makes you say that ?" She replied "because you keep calling me Luv, Darling, Gorgeous etc"  ;D
Oh I've been there so to avoid that issue I say as little to them as possible..makes life so much easier I can tell ya .those of you who have a other member of your race as a wife or partner you guys are sorted..you've already been told what to say 😏
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I'm pretty sure I forgot to tell you blokes but I called Hornby and it's a done deal .
I do get the impression thier offices aren't the big...when I talked to the customer services lady she then put me on to another lady who did the money side of things and I could hear the customer services lady on the phone in the background  ;D

Did she transfer the call or is the office that small she just handed the phone over?

Glad its sorted mate.  Now you just have to wait...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Their offices aren't that big, the recent tv documentary series on the company showed it as a rather close knit company when it came to office space. With all the brands sharing the same space. Mind you I doubt if many model companies have "large" offices and the majority will be almost "cottage industry" size with a couple of people multi tasking.

Happy birthday for the other day by the way
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It looked to be a classic open plan office on the telly, but it also looked to be a cheerful, friendly place

That's excellent, glad to see they're really trying to sort out some of the problems with the old kits,

And the Antarctic always was a lovely kit to work on too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
