With the end of the 50s group build speeding towards us we come to that time when some of the assembled start begging for extra time

Does anyone need an extra 168 or 336 hours or shall we do away with this cherished tradition and have members crying in their paint pots and saying " wouldnt have happened in my day"

let us know

mark (CBE the elder)

Please, sir, may I respectfully request an extension of  at least one week?  (Cringe, plead, grovel)  I've  what I think is a credible and potentially entertaining De Havilland Vixen backstory half written but  Madame R has recently had a hip joint replaced and assisting  her  with sundry aspects of daily life  is taking up a great deal more time than I anticipated.  The hip, however , is healing remarkably well.

Incidentally, I initially read the highlighted section in your post as "....crying in their PINT pots...."
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Blame it on autocorrect!

Also, you have my sympathies on the care giver duties. My SWMBO has a broken right arm so can't do much either.

Bridget and I send our best wishes to Mrs Kerick, and our condolences to you for the extra work this brings you.

And we have to sacrifice model time too! We should get a medal!

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

paint the models yourself if her arm is broken
Remember, if the reality police ask you haven't seen us in ages!
When does "old enough to know better" kick in?

If anything gets painted around our house it's because I did it! She's not the arts and crafts type.

I'll take two weeks please.  Just to be sure.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

My trio are unlikely to be finished.

There is just a possibility that with two weeks I can get the Meteor finished, so I'd like to crave a boon and ask for two please.

The other thing is that if anyone would like their builds moved into the "normal" threads once the GB is closed then let me know by PM.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

"For this relief, much thanks"    Bill Shakespeare  usually had the right words for the situation.

Hamlet Act 1 Scene1  in this case.

That would be most acceptable.
