A Tigercat with Griffons would be different too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

IIRC, Aoshima did a rather crude F7F in 1:72 (props with spinners, from the prototype!), and there was a night fighter from Octopus, which is AFAIK the latest model. I am not aware of a Sword kit?

Pavla/Octopus did
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Don't you dare say things like that Kit..im definitely not going to put Griffons on my Tigercat.
Well I may not put Griffons on my Tigercat.
Well it could be a possibility 🤔

Just inquiry really I wonder where you could get a couple of 48th scale Griffons from even tho I'm definitely not going to use em 🙃

Just got an Emhar F-94C Starfire.

I will be taking inspiration from Our Esteemed Colleague, Dizzy, and putting the cockpit/intakes/nose section onto the rear fuselage and wings of an Airfix Sabre Dog.
User to be determined, but hopefully I can justify something NON-silver...

The Sabre's nose/cockpit will become the start of a NuBSG Caprica Fighter.

The Starfire's fuselage will probably get a MiG-21 nose and become something Trigan Empire (there they are again... something of a Theme developing...)

You evil evil English type person you !!!
Because of your freaking suggestion I've just brought another Mk19 Spitfire from academy just for its Griffon engine because I did some profiling with the Griffon on a Tigercat and it looked bloody epic .

Slippery slope mate.  You'll now be thinking about what to hang off the front of the Spits...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
