Just a first mock up, under heavy construction ...

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thx for watching my tries ...

One problem is the original keel ,  I have to cut it of and close it for a better shape and look , just like many small details on the downside . Unfortunately i saw this after fixing the parts  together .   Before it would be much easier to do .

Than I have to change the props into Jet engines .

It would be fine to have some 1:72 torpedoes on the outside , but I do not have anything like that in my collection .

Landing gear would be no question, these types of ,,Atlantic Multijet engines" running well in and out of the water , so,the Seeadler could land direct offshore .

I am so lucky to have one fine Me 262 canopy left from some earlier projects
you may know that it is not possible for me to build anything without a piece of the 262 on it ...

Okay, two free days to go, but also have to do a lot work in house and our small homerecording studio, if I do not connect my wife's vocal recording units it would become a very bad end for me ....

All social Pentecost dates are done very well yesterday , fleamarket with family , fine Italian dinner , cycling with my love , and also the big summer party of my workplace ( which i visit just every fifth year or so ) .  All done in a 9 hour job !
No on will see me until next Tuesday

No Land Rover Action this weekend, we better do that when other people went to work...
Oh ,yesterday  I found a sweet diecast WMIK Defender in perfect condition on the fleamarket, a perfect present for my best buddy .

I don't like weapons but I imagine this is a nice perfume sprayer... ;)

perttime

If it is not a perfume sprayer, in some timelines, the canopy needs to be pretty strong (I think).

I paint the half of the pattern by hand yesterday in RLM 65 , which went very well after a bit of universal thinner in the vintage revell color ...

Today after work i switch into speed Mode and put a oliv green from a 20 year old MONTANA Rattle can  on it . Masking with green frog tape is good !!

When removing the Tape  ALL paint stay on the surface , please notice that there is no primer under the color , just the Chrome effect spray !   And the precious Marabou clear mat .

I believe the montana green need some days for drying , than i will try some careful sanding .
