On re-reading this item, I've just realised...................it's Camberwick Green!!    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camberwick_Green.  I thought it sounded familiar.

Following a visit to Manchester Arndale's Lego shop on Monday, I now have: more Lego.

I use it to make jigs to hold things (typically aircraft wings/tailplanes) in place while they dry, but all I've had until now are flat bits, so I bought a small pot of taller bits to help out. Some of these are pre-made 'scaffolding' sections (like a crane tower) which will make it easier to clamp things to them as well.

BTW Chris: there are two threads with the same title as this one on the board, one of which has a single reply post from you on it. Very odd and probably needs merging.

That's a really weird one as my post is obviously a reply to one in "this" thread. Anyway they are merged now. Thanks for letting me know.

Set of Revell Mini Needle Files. 39077 is the code. Proper files, none of this diamond dust stuff. My old set is getting rather worn and the tip broke off my favourite file too.

Diamond "files" aren't files, they're "grinding" sticks.

Following a visit to Manchester to sort out some stuff re my late aunt's house, I dropped in on the Lego shop and got another helping. Sadly they've discontinued the the rather nice plastic pots they used to use for the pick'n'mix and gone over to cardboard boxes. Anyway, I found when doing the Skydiver that the base plate I have is too big and takes up too much room on the workbench, so I got some more biggish flat bits in order to make "skeleton" bases (there were no intermediate-sized plates on sale, alas). I topped up the box with some very tall arches, and lots of little bits to make small pillars.
