Nothing 3D printed here (yet....  ;D ) those are very tiny and fragile injected parts from the kit.

The nose section is now put together, very fragile to construct it

The poor pilot has not much space inside the plane.

Most parts are now assembled, so it now starts to look like an aircraft.

That's starting to look sweet mate 👌 👍 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Old Wombat

Certainly not a manned V-2, any more! ;)

Unless, of course, it is but with different control surfaces?!  ;D

Great job so far! I built this kit years ago. It was at the peak of Huma's engineering and mold making. It was an enjoyable build (even with the "plastic photoetch"). I miss Huma and I wish they could have stayed in business.

You and me both, they made some great stuff and did it in their own particular way.

I've got their Ju 288 sitting looking at me as I type this................  ;)  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I also have a few Huma kits waiting to be build, the Ju 287 and the FA-223. But I am a bit afraid about the last one.

I'd love to build the FA-223... but it is scary. I don't know how the Huma and AMP/Mikro-Mir models compare, but the AMP sprue shots look challenging.

Now everything has been added, masked and preparing to be painted.
