Next project: the Focke Wulf Schnellbomber with Jumo 222's. There were two version, I chose the one with the nose wheel. The fuselage is INCREDIBLE narrow. Once the nose wheel retracts, there is virtually no room for people in the cockpit. Pretty sure they hadn't thought this one all the way through.
And...I constantly underestimate the amount of work it takes to design these things for printing/molding.
As always, 1:72 and 1:48.

It's a twin so I automatically like it 😏
But as twins go this looks quite strange with that fuselage being so narrow.
Ya kinda get the idea that the Germans designed the plane then figuring where the landing gear is going to go  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I guess they wanted to minimize drag. Makes sense. The massive Jumos make the fuselage seem even narrower. It is actually quite OK. Except for the fact that the nose wheel also needs space. Took me a while to figure this out. Back in the days they didn't have CAD, but I do 😄
Reminds me of the Grumman F7F.

Oh definitely..the slimmer the better but yeah those engines make it look slimmer again.
I would have thought that they would have made the fuselage a little deeper for the front landing gear.
The pilot would have the bulge between his feet like in the Meteor or Vampire..don't remember which  <_<

Love the looks but can we change the name to
Hochgeschwindigheitsschwerkraftwaffenabwerfer?

WARUM ?

The shape of the wings is amazing !!   Cockpit looks like the Ju 388 , one of my all time Favorits .

And very huge machines . Yes !
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That's looking amazing! I'm also planning todo some projects with jumo 222's in 1/72. Where did you find those jumo 222's?

Naturlich!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.
