Scored a Academy...well another 48th Academy F-16 A/C Fighting Falcon today.
Rui...Dogfighter gave me a idea about a week ago and it's like this was ment to happen as this falls into my lap for the grand price of $10 and it's brand new   ;D
Also got a Hobbyboss Antonov AN-2 Colt ..48th aswell  ...for some reason I've wanted one for yrs and I don't honestly know why.
It's also big ..I mean BIG!!!..wing span is over 400mm long .
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Much as I like the Airfix kit for the detail, the Hasegawa is a vastly easier kit to build.

Bought one of them a while back for the same reason. There's just something about them I really like.

Yes, "BIG" is certainly a good description. ;D

Might do mine in Czech markings with an amoeba-style camouflage with blue undersides or amoeba camouflage with black undersides & no markings as a "clandestine operations" aircraft. ;)

Was passed an MPM Heinkel He 100 and an Airmodel Ar 76 on Monday.  Think the former may go Turkish.

Gondor

Just received from the BIG yellow H

1 x 1/72 Italeri 1460 AMX Ghibli single seat aircraft. The level of engraveing looks fantastic on this much anticipated kit. I have been hopeing for one of these to be released by a main stream manufacturer almost as long as the aircraft has been flying. Choice of weapons is a little limited and all the decal options are for Italian machines but I am sure someone will produce Brazilian markings for them soon, of course we may put anything we want onto them and probably will anyway  ;D
Size wise it's bigger than a Hawk in length and height, wing span is about the same but the AMX looks beefier, sort of a small Jaguar, would be interesting to see one built next to a Jag.

1 x 1/72 AIR-GRAPHIC MODELS AIR72-019 On Target Decals Special BAE Hawk in Worldwide Service Pt1. Seventeed colour schemes for a wide variety of versions, 100's, 200's and the original versions are included, some of which are in aerobatic team markings. My eye was caught by the Oman Mk.166 scheme of Grey, Green and brown so that is moveing up my build list.

So SWMBO got home today from a few days away pursuing one of her hobbies.  She stayed briefly before leaving to go and see the musical Kinky Boots with friends...about an hour away...in the only town anywhere in our area with a truly great model shop.  God love her before she leaves she asks if I want her to stop by and get anything for me!

So I have restocked a few Vallejo and Tamiya paints AND she picked up a Revell 1/72 Sea Vixen and a Kitty Hawk 1/48 Mirage F.1B.

In the mail today was my Amt A-20 and my TA-154 ..2 aircraft I've wanted for a very long time ⌛️.
Already know the A-20 is in for a engine swap..from R-2600s to R-2800s ..a very nice power upgrade  ;D
