Quote from: zenrat on June 18, 2023, 05:15:28 AMKP Skoda D.10.  Transfers are toast and the box has been sat on but all parts are intact.  $5

Now, if I could get that in 1/48 I'd be a happy chap!

Quote from: zenrat on June 18, 2023, 05:15:28 AMBagged unknown biplane.  No transfers, no instructions, no prop blades, no idea what it is (but at this price good whiff fodder).  Anyone care to guess its identity?  $2

I'm not going to put money on it but it looks like a Polikarpov R-5 to me, & it looks like you have one prop blade just to the right of the engine cowling in the image.

eBay says I've won that Siebel Fh 104 Halloween I was bidding in.  It's Packs, so likely to be challenging...

Fred good pickups from the Swamp.
Nothing for me from there.. like you I thought the prices were excessive. Clearly some of these folks think that unboxing and reboxing the same kits time and time again is a good business practice, just waiting for that one sucker.

Couple of pickups from the Comp floor though.

1/35 Kinetic MRAP.... Zombie wastelands.. here we come

Dragon 1/35 M3 Halftrack
and for me.. a raffle prize, probably the worst choice in the raffle.
some type of enormous Gundam thing. :o

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

And to me.  Thanks mate.  Wish my reference books were not in storage.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

The Wooksta!

eBay says I've won the Roden Heinkel He 111B II was bidding on. It has a reputation of being "challenging".  It hasn't met the Sandmaster yet...

TBH, I'd rather it was the E, but it fits in with my Spanish theme.

Anyway, whilst searching for something else, I stumbled on a Hi-Tech Junkers Ju 87A with a few minutes left. I've been thinking about one as a Spanish one, and all the Special Hobby ones are frankly too pricey. I've had it through my hands a few times so I know it's a good kit and the price was right.  Anyhow, another Spanish one sorted.

PR19_Kit

Got an Airfix Bv-141 from eBay, and I have a plan for it already.  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Apparently I have won a vintage complete IMAI 1:100 VF-1J Armored Valkyrie mecha kit via ev!lbay from UK.
Customs fees and postage raise the price, but with less than EUR 50,- for the whole deal is still acceptable.
