Upcoming is a real great manoeuvre of the NATO in north germany, the air defender 23.

Since one week the planes arrive daily , mostly at Jagel, Hohn and Wunstorf.
We were there to see the first C17 coming in .

I will post some pix here , not by me , we just start to Jagel around the 16.June for some days .

 First plane arrived was this Globemaster, and the German frollein for the welcome

 We spend some amazing days north of Hamburg , airbases Jagel and Hohn.
Lots of F15 , F18 , F16 , A 10 and typhoons ... 
The US pilots gave a great performance , all the time , afterburner , deep pass ,  thank you very much !

Military police allowed us to sleep direct near the runway ( in our ExMOD 110 )  and watched about our safety over the night ( yes , they drove up in three minutes when a unknown car arrived in the night ...    ) .

Very interesting was the mechanic show over the night , some days they worked till midnight including test runs ...
a Dream to be there .

Fascinating pics from Jagel. Over here, the Air Force has banned all and every wind turbine out to 40 km from the runway, citing "air safety reasons". Apparently, Germans fly better than we do..   

That's a lot of F-16s & Hogs!

Maybe Swedish pilots just don't like having to zig-zag between them to get to the runway?

The tail is on the other side covered with the Air defender graphic, and it is the
87-0229 F-16C "Fighting Falcon" 120 FS Colorado ANG Special c/s 100 Years First in the Air Guard .
