My stepfather used to take me and my sisters to RHS Wisley back in the 1980s bought a few plants from there for the back garden.

I had a look at the "extra" Hannants New Arrivals post this morning covering all those Hat figure sets discovered in the Far East which are on their way here. All I'll say is that if these had been available 50 years or so ago I'd probably never have given up wargaming. Some of the ancient sets are just  and the fact they've even found some French Napoleonic Wurst Waggons means you can probably do the Grande Armee man for man now.

Back in my day the only way to get a lot of these ancient types was in the vast array of flat figures produced on the Continent, but in the main in Germany. The late Tony Bath had an incredible collection.

I looked it up too although I was worried what would show up after searching for French wurst wagon. I mean German sausages being hauled around by the French? That could start a war right there!
The picture on Hannets website is equally puzzling. Is that a wagon for really long sausages? With French guys riding on top? Is it a weird hearse? Two guys are wearing their hats front to back while the middle guy is wearing his sideways. Did he see a squirrel off to the side and move his head super fast? The writer of the review seemed to know something about it. His description of the wagon riders hanging onto each other to keep from falling off was pretty hilarious. I'm not one for figures have at it if you like. Some whiff possibilities perhaps?
