Ok , i am into the contest with a piston powered  Messerschmitt 262  .
That's absolute new for me because everything i build is converted in the opposite way .
That mean there must be a lot of Propellers in my stash ... but will I need them  ;D  ?

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep .
Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

 ;D  ;D
This will be very interesting 👍
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Piston engines plural rather than singular.  ;)

I don't think about re-building  some old designs , but thank you for that nice drawings !

If you're thinking of pistons in place of the jets some scale-o-rama might be required. Either shrink the engines or enlarge the aircraft. Then you will need a new cockpit. Or make it a side by side two seater. Just thinking out loud.

1.  The Re-Engine IT GB begins 00:01 01/07/2023  and ends 23:59 30/09/2023.

Knowing Killnoizer like we do ..engines on top of the wings for starters...im not going to try to list the ideas Kill might have ..I don't have all day  ;D

Thank you very much
These things come up all the time , right now I have 6 vehicles in work at the same time, but group build is something different for me , I enjoy that very well .

I am unfortunately out of my home , so no building these days .

The concept of the multi piston engine i think about should be very unusual .  The standard rotary engines , left over from the down broken german  aircraft industry , are used to compress the air , mounted in a row like a multi Stage compressor and similar like a modern jet engine with different stages , before burning the fuel for high effective drive .

Mate I'm surprised your not mounting the engines above the wings so you get clearance for the props and make it look funky even more 😉

The 262  did in fact make its first flight as a propellor   driven airframe.

Wiki sayeth thus:-     The design of what would become the Me 262 started in April 1939, before the Second World War. It made its maiden flight on 18 April 1941 with a piston engine, and its first jet-powered flight on 18 July 1942. Progress was delayed by problems with engines, metallurgy and interference from people including Hermann Göring,

First flight   18 April 1941 with piston engine (Junkers Jumo 210)   18 July 1942 with jet engines

I am realy not into the prop design at the moment.  Standard engines yes , but Props ... no .

Like René Stapp's Land Speed Rerord car which he claimed would be powered by three Jupiter engines with their pistons
removed that would somehow function as turbines and produce streams of jet exhaust that would propel the car to a new
speed record.
;D

The car was constructed on a Voisin chassis and driven around powered by the Voisin sleeve-valve engine, but no evidence
exists the Jupiters were ever installed. It caught fire and burned up on a beach run.

The Jupiter is a 9-cylinder radial.
