The original patent for Nathan Price of Lockheed's Gas Reaction Aircraft Power Plant that led to L-1000 engine shows the option
of a radial piston compressor in place of the 3-stage centrifugal compressor fed by the axial compressor. The piston compressor
is driven by the turbine and would be equipped with sleeve valves. It's discussed in detail on pages 14 and 15 of the patent. Note
that it is not a piston engine it's a piston air compressor. Figure 9 in the drawing.

The J37/L-1000 is still around. I saw it at the  Planes of Fame Museum, years ago.

speed record.

The car was constructed on a Voisin chassis and driven around powered by the Voisin sleeve-valve engine, but no evidence
exists the Jupiters were ever installed. It caught fire and burned up on a beach run.

What a remarkable machine!  Slip a model of that into any competition and one  would  be accused of creating a Whiff-on-wheels!

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Something out of "The Great Race" movie... ;D
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I've started this evening .

Instead of complete changing of the 262 i will keep it in the standard konfiguration and direction .

Engines are from a simple kit , not very good , but in the right size .

Tail must be changed , wings are together .

This comes as a one seater !

Ermmmmmmmmmm, that seems to have a LOT of fuselages and things...........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Yeah I'm lost looking at all those bits 😕 🙃
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Yeees.... Really confusing, and those markings for cuts on the fuselage... Will the green parts be used to lenghten the fuselage?

I suppose there will be a radial (maybe with an integrated prop blended as a ring into the hull?) in front of and behind the cockpit, so that a round fuselage diameter become necessary?  :o
Not certain about the large Bullpup, though.
