They could get a WHOLE site of weird planes...

By the way, I'm fairly sure that that was an actual CAC design that never got off the drawing board.

Ah, here we go! A thread on Secret Projects: https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/cac-postwar-projects.1479/

And this book probably has more info, but I don't have a copy, so I don't know:

Didn't someone here build one of these, or something similar?

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

'Spot-On Designs' is TSRJoe on here, but a Canberra seaplane would be lots larger than an SRA/1.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That Canberra Flying Boat looks surprisingly "right"
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Somehow, it feels wrong to call a combat aircraft cute. But what else is there to say, esthetically?

Something has happened to the world. It is either the 48th century or 3000 years have passed. And things have happened to people as well...

Two pages of "main gallery". You might like the Yak/A-1 cross, too. But for my personal safety, Red Sonja has never been an horse.

The furries have taken over!
Furries are people who feel they have an animal spirit inside. They're easy to find at comic/anime cons dressed as animals.

I like the Caracal tanks: looks roughly like a Hellcat hull with a Comet/Cromwell-cross turret, but the details are subtly different.

I got one of Joe's early test shots in a really vile resin.  I may have posted photos but likely they went during my ban.
