Being a compulsory importer of Land Rover related related spares from the UK to the EU, I am happy to chime in too..

There's a LOT of nothing being said here.  :-X  Probably best for the blood pressure  ;)

I shall wait for Hannants to deliver the AMX kits. At least I saved 10% by ordering in advance. £26.99 x2 still hurts though  <_<

I only ordered one and it should be here late tomorrow. If I want more, the fact it's a mainstream manufacturer means that it should be widely available in the medium term future.

  With you on that. I could add my tuppence worth as well but, not here! I used to buy a lot of kits from EU countries because prices and, postage were often cheaper than in the UK. I stopped all that now because postage in particular is a real killer.

It's even worse at this end of the supply chain... even internal postage can be a deal killer now.
"But as no-one sends enough real mail these days, we have to charge more for the little that there is"... can you see the cause and effect/circular problem, right there?  :banghead:

I didn't realise you had different postage rates for urban and rural. At least ours is still a universal service

Yep ..anything to make our lives more expensive Chris they will do it here .
The problem with here for postage is alot farmer type folks live fricken miles from townships and the posties use vans to deliver the mail ..exactly like in the UK but here they make it a cost that us mutants who don't live in the cities have to pay for.

For now. Snail Mail is under investigation for serious failures in delivery (no pun intended) of its Universal Service Obligation. Believe it or not, their response to the investigation was to ask the government to review the obligation and consider reducing the service from six days a week to five.

What a nerve! Privatise any organisation and they think it's a licence to print money!  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
