Just yesterday I shoot a handfull of my favorit Me 262 kits from private ads , for a very friendly price at 1/3 of the standard amount   ...
so I got enough spares for the rest of the year i think .

And a modern Leopard Tank kit for some nice tracks plus the italeri S.A.S. Land Rover in 1:35 , the standard MOD Defender AND the WMIK Defender i, that is not really my category of modell, but it's a Landy , and my brother likes the WMIK versions very much , so it could be a good gift if it's build .

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Quote from: The Wooksta! on July 18, 2023, 12:51:26 PMThe Frog Do335 was always a two seater, it never had a single seat option.  However, it was a nice enough whiff from the box with the night fighter option...

I've got one of them as well.

I had one years back but sold it on. Genuine Frog boxing too.

The Airfix Bf 109E and He 111P combo arrived earlier today. I was going to try and recoup some of the cost by moving on the 109, but on reflection a change of user to Moron Flight School in Spain and in the pre war Luftwaffe colours could be more interesting.  Spain did have the 109E, but seemed to just wear the one scheme.

Unexpectedly, I came across an(other) Airfix Nimrod and remembered that I want a third one to build the R.1 version in addition to the MR.2P and the AEW.3's I already have. Getting it quite cheaply (they often go for ridiculous amounts these days - if you can find them), I felt I had budget to snatch a cheapish Matchbox Meteor NF from the same seller, also saving on freight.

While still somewhat upbeat about my good fortune, I placed a chance bid on a Trumpeter MiG-29SMT as well, and winning that, I repeated my freight saving strategy, getting another Heller SAAB 32 Lansen to the StashTM, and now I'm left mulling where to store them..

That strategy has been seen in a couple of court cases here in the UK and the Judges have thrown it out on all occasions. Swedish Law may be different of course.  ;)  ;D

If you by "law" is referring to the almighty rulings of SWMBO's, then I fear our systems can be uncannily similar despite Brexit. That said, the matter usually revolves more around what she think I spent and less around what I actually spent. Which - obviously - can go in any direction, should one not tread with care..  ;)

My condolences. The Matchbox Meteor is a vile build, with endless sink holes and fit issues. No trenches, just restrained raised panel lines that just disappear.    The upper deck insert has a join line that is impossible to get rid of.  Definitely needs transverse bulkheads.
And ignore the instructions when it comes to the NF14 nose. The nose for the 12 is correct for the 14.
