My 48th Trumpeter Hornet came in the mail today..is it a great day ???
Damn right it is 😄😄😄😄😄😄
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

This arrived today.

Largish box containing all the sprues, PE, and transfers squeezed into a significantly smaller ziplock bag.  I haven't de-bagged the sprues yet to see if it has, like the box art shows, three torpedoes so I can build it with this load out...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Just got the decals on my Siga release.  Went down the Firebrand route.

The Ace one (which I bought from Modelzone when they were still open) did, so I would have thought it will have

Just had a look on Scalemates and it's the same tooling which goes back to the 2002 SIGA kit. Sprue layout is same as mine. A bit chunky, but looks reasonable.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

I'd agree that it is quite clunky and does need some sanding, but it's basically okay.  Not that I want to build another, done what I wanted to.

PR19_Kit

My two Airfix Bond Bug kits arrived at last, almost a week late, and they STILL left them on my front door step, despite being told to leave them under the rear porch.  :banghead:

The car's very small, and was originally in a plastic bag, but now it's in a big box, about twice the length of the car itself! Not only that, but the two boxes were in a HUGE box by comparison to the size of the model. It would have taken three Lightning F2 kits.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I have that problem with FedEx/UPS/USPS, wherein my delivery instructions are for the side door, and the usual drivers on the route are good about that, but their covers? Not so much.  I've had stuff left on the front porch, middle of the driveway, on the deck in back, etc.

Yesterday i finally scored a Dragon 1/72 Do 335 B-2 Zerstörer. Saw one on ebay for just under 20€ from an Italian seller but there was no shipping option available for my country so i contacted the seller and got him to change the listing.
It's the original Dragon release so no masks or PE like the Hobby 2000 releases but both are available if i want them but i may end up buying some Master brass barrels for the Mk 103 cannons.

Something exotic, from my personal point of view: two Aoshima 1:24 Daihatsu Copen kits from a Polish seller, which were offered with a rebate and combined shipping. I already have one of a standard car (plan is to build a replica of my own "real" car some day...) in The Stash, the two new/additional kits are a highly modified custom car with a body kit (migh become with some tweaks a racer) and a "special edition" variant with alternative wheels and a different grille, earmarked for a color experiment. Some day...

Probably worth it for long barrels like those.

IIRC there's an aftermarket set out there (resin parts?) with wing guns and their bulbous fairings for the Do 335 Zerstörer variant? Not certain about the manufacturer, though.

Mulberry scale kits?  Very nice but horrendously expensive. Their CASA 2.111 is more expensive than the base Airfix kit.

Yup, these seem that they'll break easily so i'll replace them with the brass ones.

I did look for those before i found the complete kit but couldn't find them anywhere. Won't have to worry about it now.

BTW, last night i ordered a Hasegawa 1/48 AV-8B II+. I have the 1/72 kit but i like this bird a lot so i had to have a bigger one.
