I think that there are navies with smaller aircraft carriers than the Zodiac estate!

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Did any one ever do a mainstream FJ-1 Fury?

I've got that rather basic Emhar FJ-4, and I do like that shape.

Czech Model, Siga and Pegasus did one (plus a few others), but the most recent one is by Valom who done 3 boxings.

AMT did the Tiger in 1/24 and Revell (I think,...) did the Alpine in 1/32, but I don't think the Mk IV Zodi has ever been modelled. We called them 'aircraft carriers' in the industry because if the ENORMOUS bonnet!  :o

I know what you mean. I built the Pegasus one back in 2009. From memory it's a reasonable build.

Valom did one in 1:72, in at least two boxings (must have one in The Stash somewhere...).

3 boxings, but as I said it's one of their earlier kits, 2014. so it might be a fiddly build.
