If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

That's a crazy price for a model kit!

What's crazier is that more than a few people will be willing to pay that price - or get into a frenzy and bid it even higher... :banghead:  :banghead:

Wardukw

Ken mate that's nothing ..you would crap yourself from shock alone if you saw what prices Rick and I have to deal with .

Which is why I don't buy retail if I can help it, anymore...  :banghead:

Doesn't stop me from succumbing and making the occasional mistake along those lines, though... ;D

Wardukw

Yeah totally agreed mate 👍
It's what I find ..when I find it and can I afford it depends on if it's gonna be mine...like the Beaufighter I scored a few days back of trademe..no way can I afford one from the stores...it's twice what I payed.

The Wooksta!

Been given a part started Italeri Dornier Do 24 and a Revellobox Dornier Do 18.

The former needs a going over from Dr Magic to get off the terrible paintwork.  I'm thinking Spanish water bomber in yellow and red.  The former will go as the early D option, in RLM63 over 65 and Spanish roundels, but the ones between the civil war and the roundels proper.

I'm planning something similar to the Canadair flying boats Spain actually use.

The Do 24s that Spain used for SAR use were in natural metal, so I want them to look visibly different.  Brings a nice touch of colour to the table.

A CASA built He 111 in a similar scheme and with turboprops  would also look very different.

Hence why I'm not doing one.  I have other plans for Spanish SAR aircraft that do not involve the Do 24. The Do 24 I have is going water bomber, hence the photos above to prove the point.

In other news, I snaffled a cheap Huma Me 209A from eBay that is sans canopy. Luckily, I have a spare from one that may end up as a two seater.

A baggie of Li'l Fellas... 1/72 pilot figures, for the cost of the postage.
Mainly WW2 style helmets and Bone Domes, but also the odd one that's a bit different, which should do for anything SyFy or Early era.
My Pilot-y needs are about filled for now... as are those for any modern Tank Crew I find I need... ;)

zenrat

A Hauler PE & Resin detail set for a Tamiya 1/48 M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage.
Includes interior detail missing from the kit and a rather nice looking 50 cal.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
