I think that is because that price is for a 3d model that you then print yourself.  So you could make it any scale you liked (subject to your printers capabilities).

Bloke across the road has at least two, possibly three Zephyrs in his garage that he's doing up, plus a couple he's using for spares.

He's been at it for years (at least a decade) but they are moving forward in their restoration.

Precisely! It's a computer file, so you can scale it to whatever you need/want.

Nice to know there are still some of the old cars out there - of whatever make/model, and that they are  being rebuilt, rather than left to rot.

The Hydrofoil looks appealing, I'm guessing 1/96 or 1/144 scale.

I've liked the hydrofoil look for a while, and was toying with adding the USS Tucumcari to my list of Vietnam/Fast Patrol Boat Collection builds, but the whole 'Long prop shaft'-thing kind of puts me off.

And then there's the issue of what kit to base it on...

And reading Wiki for the first time, I see it was water-jet powered and not propeller... dang it, not another Project...

I built that Aurora (?) Tucimcari kit DECADES ago, and it's really good, albeit quite small. IIRC the foils can be built to retract as well. 

The trouble with that is: first, finding an example of the (confirmed) Aurora kit; then being willing to sacrifice a kidney to pay for it... and finding out it's not even in the scale I want... 

And the real thing wasn't very big, either - only a bit shorter than a WW2 ELCO boat.

The Wolseley 18/85, in 1/32 scale is also available in a resin body shell on eBay.

Bet it's a bit more than 32p, though...
