I have always loved the way the Kangaroo looked and the way the Canadian troops used these. So l thought that a M3 Lee would be a good fit to convert to this roll also! Those side doors can be useful to troops climbing aboard. Looks great to me.

Nice one.. I had a crack at the very same thing a few years back. albeit a bit differently, it all makes perfect sense to me to reuse these older vehicles for jobs like this

Of course the Kangaroo with its pulpit would make idea transport for the Battalion Chaplain  ;)

Nice simple concept and fully doable.. I like it  ;D  :thumbsup:
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Wasn't the Priest that got converted to one of the Kangaroos based on the M3 chassis? So you're right in there!

Early M7 HMCs were built on what was basically the M3 medium tank lower hull, yes. Late ones used the M4A3 instead, recognisable by the one-piece cast nose, and the different engine deck and lower hull rear associated with the M4A3.
