And then what? Can you explain and/or show a bit more?
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

What about adding something when you build the bomb farm space?

And some more in progress pics. At the rate I keep adding new styrene construction all over the carrier, especially at the rear, the more this ship starts to get heavier.  :o
At the rate I'm building, I may need a forklift to help lift/move it.  ;D  ;D  ;D

I don't know when the next round of in progress pics will be. Right now, I need to spend the next few days days doing sanding, puttying, and cleanup on a lot of the scratch built styrene additions I've added. Some of the edges of plastic strip, rod, and sheet I added all over the place need to be filed and sanded down.

Spotted this picture below while randomly browsing the Net looking for Gerald Ford carrier information. That's probably the shade of blue my carrier hull should have had. But Vallejo doesn't have anything that close in their Model Air Color paint range. So my blue hull color will be lighter than that as you can see in another picf below where I started to paint the propeller shafts and so forth.
Oh, and lest I forget, I hope to change the bow on my carrier too. In one of the below pics, you can see the bulbous bow circled in yellow. The TAMIYA Enterprise carrier bulbous bow is not that round or pronounced like what may be on Nimitz or Gerald Ford class carriers. I hope to buy an aftermarket part from 3D-Wild website that will allow me to change the bow shape.

Just my $0.02 but I think the blue you used before looks great and you should go with it. That dark blue is on a drawing and could easily be off.
Maybe you could take the bow off a sub and use that?

I doubt a sub's bow would be the right shape. What I'm thinking of using is hopefully this:

$25.00 is a lot for such a part for me. Of course that kit with the hull parts is $150.00!!

I'm on a little bit of a break right now from this project so I don't get burned out.
Might get back to it next week maybe.
Or at the worst...........not until late September.

Tiny update.
Been no work on my carrier the last few weeks, and there won't be any new progress in the next week or two either.
Right now, I'm taking care of a family member who is recovering from surgery. So that comes first.
So I probably won't get back to work on the carrier till the beginning of October. We'll see.

Family comes first

Hope they make a full recovery quickly.
