PSR - sanding and more putty where indicated.
Removed intake under centre engine and re attached it straight.
Scratchbuilt additional radiator under port wing for  centre engine.
Thought about Brad F's suggestion some more.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I got out the Me.110 tails which go with the wings.
The fins are significantly bigger than the 109 tail so I will not be using them.
But I have added additional finnage beneath the rear fuselage and begun extending the rudder.

Bugger, looking at (admittedly different scales) 3 views of them both I would've (and actually did) assumed that the opposite was true, the 110's fin's look so tiny... *Shrug*

Oh well, onwards

They would have worked if I removed the 109 fin but then their size emphasised the shortness of the rear fuselage.
Maybe I could have grafted on an entire 110 rear fuselage?

Anyhoo, that's couldabeen.
I've now added a ventral fin running from the trailing edge to the rudder which carriers a fairing (spat?) for the tail wheel.
A touch more PSR and she'll be ready for paint.  Although I should probly test the sit with the 110 undercarriage before that.

Oh....
The ventral fin changes the profile a lot.
What is the plan for the main wheels? On the nacelles? The new tail wheel position would change the stance on the ground a lot, with 109 wheels (which might be a bit weak with all the engines).

It does, doesn't it
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

But I can see how that's going to prevent a ridiculously nose-up stance when on its feet.

Do I sense some disappointment?

Main UC will be Me.110 items mounted in the normal way.

You just did something that I didn't expect. Which is half the fun

Are the unused fins redundant? I've a bf110 kit missing a fin who could give them a good (well, goodish) home if you don't have plans for 'em

Quite liking the Ventral fin idea.

Three engines.. almost indicates a possible Regia Aeronautica Scheme possibility. The Italian penchant for tri engined aircraft would fit this build.

I like the overall look of this a lot. Is there room in that ventral fin for a tail hook? I see Navy markings on it!
