Nude shot from earlier in the week showing the filer work on the top decking.  Looks bad?  Underneath was even worse.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Got to love those instruction "manuals"  ;)  ;D

Yeah, Mach 2 have minimalising the manuals down to a fine art, one page only, and only ONE side too!  :banghead:

In the last twelve months I looked in a manual ... maybe twice
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

The Wooksta!

It has the same size footprint as a Condor.

It's looking like crap at the mo Lee but I do get the feeling it's gonna look many times better once your done with it  ;D

I'm taking it from you guys that Mach 2 is not what you'd call a quality kitset ?
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It certainty isn't Tamigawa, is it? Then again - I doubt I'll ever see a mainstream manufacturer do a Comet C.4 kit, so I'll take what I can get and be grateful. Also, in Mach 2's defence, I find their plastic reasonably obliging, so it's not that bad working with.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Most Mach 2 kits are quite basic, with some fit issues (some with major issues) but some of the subjects are the only ones you may find, so I salute them for bringing some things that your will not see from any other manufactures, or only in rare and expensive resin kits.

Done one Mach 2 kit.. I considered the piece of paper included with the Flash at the end of large sprue gates as "general construction hints"

Back on the model at hand... go you good thing

kerick

Well, it seems they give you half an airplane so half an instruction sheet?
