Oven gloves ?? 😁

Ahh, they're not just oven gloves, they're Joy Division oven gloves.
😆 🤣 😂...not my sort of music but very cool either way 👍
I've got 2 pairs..a heavy pair with black and white stripes and a light pair with kittens on em 🙂
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

That could be read in such away that your wifey is gonna get a BPF MK1 instead of what she wanted if you hadn't added the postage part 😄

Thanks Bungle I won the 1/144 Airfix de Havilland Comet 4B on eBay.

Snowtrooper

Those gloves make me wonder whether that could be an effective camo pattern for a warship. Or maybe a winter camo on a plane or a vehicle.

Picked up some Karaya captured Fw 190s markings yesterday, along with an LF Caproni AP.1, which wasn't cheap.  It's a decidedly obscure pre war Italian dive bomber that I hadn't heard of until recently. Spain had them but largely used them for training until 1948.
Will go nicely with the AZ Breda Ba 65 Narses gave me a few weeks back.

Quote from: Rheged on August 25, 2023, 12:25:44 PMThey look to me like one of  Tolkien's own illustrations of "The Misty Mountains"   in an  early edition of The Hobbit.

I was not aware of Joy Division merch socks for hobbits?

zenrat

I don't associate Hobbits with Joy Division.  Hobbits would, IMO be more into Dollar or Racey...

Forgot to mention that I was gifted a pair of ye olde Supermodel Macchi  205s.  One may end up Spanish but the other may get a Merlin and a bubble hood,  a la Fiat G.59.

Snaffled some more Spanish markings from eBay, largely for Polikarpov I-16s.  One will need some careful masking.

Had a bit of a look at that:

The 3D printing is generally very good, although the "backs" of some parts may need a bit of sanding & smoothing.

They may be a little small for what I wanted them to do, too. However, I will invoke Kit's 2nd Law of Whiffery ('The backstory can always be modified to suit the model') & she'll be right. ;)
