Quote from: kerick on August 23, 2023, 04:34:54 PMI like the overall look of this a lot. Is there room in that ventral fin for a tail hook? I see Navy markings on it!

Similar thoughts crossed my mind

Well, it's going to be operating with the Himmelreitter Fliegende Teufel which is a mercenary group flying for the Mediterrorean free anarchies (see here and here).  I suppose they could have a naval wing operating from carriers.

Quote from: Lost Cosmonauts on August 23, 2023, 08:28:15 AMAre the unused fins redundant? I've a bf110 kit missing a fin who could give them a good (well, goodish) home if you don't have plans for 'em

Sorry mate, no.  The idea of a stretched single engined Me.109 (110 rear fuselage and tail) has grabbed me so I will be using them.

I offered up the 110 legs today.  Stance is good.

Here is a pic of the underside so i can show off the scratchbuilt third radiator.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Paint.  Needs another thinned coat of both upper shades.

Which colours are they, in RLM numbers of course?   ;D

Uppers are RLM74 & RLM75.
Undersides are RLM84
All Vallejo acrylics.

What i'm aiming for (bearing in mind this is an aircraft from an anime) is Fleet Air Arm scheme with WW2 Luftwaffe splinter camo upper surfaces.

OK I could do the Hornet wings on the Spitfire and I do love the idea of Tigercat wings on a Hellcat ..that's sounds great 👍
No chance of finding another Tigercat here ..finding the first one was a miracle another would be the end of the world
