I got my first kit (the Airfix Spitfire, what else) in the Crystal Palace branch in the late 50's ? Cost 2/- I seem to remember (10p in new money), and yes that box art is great

Finland had two SAAB 17A aircraft as target tugs, purchased 1959 and 1960. They didn't serve for long.

An image from 1960 was just posted in a Finnish Aviation History FB group.

Yes to the Arado..but in the proper scale  ;D

MPM did one in 1/48.  You might get lucky.

Revell produced a 1/72 Ar 240 and ICM an Su-2.  These people now seem to be fantasising about worse versions of existing kits.
Or am I missing the point?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I was wondering about that as well as I have both the Revell and ICM kits in the stash. The Revell one is from when they were into their Luft 46 "Thing" and Beatties was still open in Holborn  ;D

Possibly they're youngsters who weren't around when the kits were, so they have no memory of them?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The artwork for the Su-2 is simply a copy of ICM box artwork for their Su-2 R version, the Araddo's box art is at least different from the Revell kit, although it does remind me of something ?
