Sounds like a 'fix', to me.
Kit's Rule Number 2 applies...

I've learnt the hard way to check alignment from every angle.  I've had to redo too much work because I didn't.
It's part of my problem with patience.  I like to rush things.
This is why I have so many started builds - gives me something to do while waiting.

After all that stuff about angles etc, I checked my Bv 148 from all angles, and sure enough the tail turret is on crooked. :(

Only a little bit, but visible from dead astern. Needless to say there won't be ANY pics taken from that angle once it's finished!

Douglas A-1 has a "warped" fin to compensate for torque and the Bloch MB.150 had the whole radial engine angled sideways for the same reason.

Do the exact same thing with RC aircraft..kinda have too..they weight alot less  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I spent hours correcting that on a Heller Skyraider I was whiffing.   :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

Yes and the MB's is quite a long way "off" central. I remember assuming I'd screwed up on one I was building until I read about it.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I used to love the old Monogram Skyraider..had I think 4 of em ..all Vietnam birds yet never noticed the twisted tail ..might have never been there come to think of it..it's not a Tamiya kit after all .
Damn it !!! Now I want another Skyraider 😩

Just a quick update here: real life has been escalating lately, with health and job issues, so that mojo for this one (and anything else) is really low at the moment.  :-\  Hope I will make it for the deadline, though, at least with the "core" aircraft.

Work is what it is. Just bear with it. Health, though - take care, mate. I can wait for the models, as long as I know they're coming.  ;)
