Good score there, Phill!
Did you remember to get a tent, while you were at it?
The weather is getting warmer, you should be fine sleeping outdoors...  ;D

There may be the odd are Falcon canopies available for some of those aircraft the A-4 and B-24.
Not the F-16, but you can't have everything (where would you put it?)

HTH.

Well it seems I have a the remains of a Academy F-16 which still has its landing gear Penguin mate ..but you are giving me an idea 💡 ☺️ 🙂

Rick that's good news...the 24 will probably be just a parts bird but I have the fuselage and wings from another auction on its way to me aswell for the B-24 so that news could change things abit 😀
The A-4s might need em but I've got 2 Hasegawa A-4s in the stash which are far better kits..well newer anyway 😆
But then again..ya never know

Great stuff
What I'm really needing is a A-4 canopy for a 32nd Hasegawa kit I've got ..it's annoyingly broken .

Sadly, there's nothing out there for that particular item - I have a friend with the same problem... a forklift driver put one of the tines through the pallet of packages...  :banghead:

Wardukw

Oh that's very well done  :banghead:
Then if that's the case then there will have to be a change I think ..now the question is to find a canopy which would be fit for purpose...I foresee more wiffery chaps .

I've got a few stories about guys like that.................. :(
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Jay's in Invercargill, NZ is the source for Falcon products: full kits, conversion kits and canopies.

It's actually pretty funny because I've seen people pay stupid money on eBay for some of the
triple conversions, usually one that's been mouldering in someone's stash, when they could've
just bought a new one directly for a fraction of the cost.
;D ;D

Quote from: Old Wombat on September 09, 2023, 02:33:25 AMYou're gonna need a bigger caravan!
Mate I already do  :o
Now thanks to a deal with another auction on trademe I've won another 48th Monogram Mirage 2000 and of course I got asked this and that and also now there's gonna be 4 more coming along to but these are not complete kits ...and those are ..all Monogram too..
1 x 48th  F-16
2 x 48th A-4 Skyhawks .
And 1 x 48th B-24 Liberator.
Liberator is missing a clear canopy... F-16 has no landing and the 2  Skyhawks have no canopy or landing gear ..a nice pile of parts 👍

I have at least one Monogram Skyhawk canopy with no model to set it on. Also various extra scooter parts if you want them. Give me a PM if you want them. It's just laying around here doing nothing.

You can sometimes pick up some interesting buys at the smaller shows
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Score of my day .

Just get another drop tank , fine tuned by a good friend with his lathe with some very lines ... That will be the fuselage for a new double prop build !

A small step for the Tech , but a big win for me , and the 188 is nearly done ...
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

OK ive got a weird one for ..weird not cause I wasn't expecting it as I was but cause of what it is.

A while back my sis said a friend of hers boyfriend build models and he had a model tank he didn't want..lost total interest in in ..cause I asked Wendy..my sis what was . ..her words and I quote " I don't know ..just some tank thing with a gun in the front" .
My sis has a excellent knowledge of military hardware as you can see. ;D
Well her friends boyfriend sent me the bloody thing and guys I'm gob smacked at what it is..
It's a 1/35th scale Amusing Hobby KF 51 Panther 4th Generation Main Battle Tank 😳😳
I of course had to take a look..it's comes with a set of masks just for the digi cam and I don't know if this model scared this bloke but the fact that there's 5 spures just for the tracks alone might have done it.
Did I add all those tracks together?? yep..585 parts
Other than that its a pretty straight forward model.
Did any of you guys ever discover the fact that there's a model you really really wanted but didn't realize that until you got one given to ya ??
I did with his  ;D
