Will you be releasing the extension nose wheel leg for the BAC TSR.2 which came in very handy for a couple of my earlier builds?

Make sure you show off the purchases at the SIG stand.  Would be nice to put a face to the name.

Quote from: Freightdog862 on October 20, 2023, 05:48:13 AMHi all,

Just got the shipping notice from CMR, so I'm fairly comfortable to announce two more items that will be at Telford. These are a re-issue of the TSR.2 Interceptor, and a brand new TSR.2 Trainer conversion.

The interceptor set includes IFR probe, underside fuselage sideways looking radar, wing pylons, launch shoes and two Radar Red Top missiles. This set has been OOP for a long time.

The trainer set has a new duel cockpit tub and rear panel/stick & pedals.  A replacement vacform main canopy has been produced by Rob Taurus, a spare canopy is provided for the cack-handed  ;)

I'll have to order at least one of each when they reach your website,  I'm currently unemployed, so Telford is, yet again, out of the question for me.

No problem at all Robert.

I have the resin now, just waiting for the canopies for the trainer, which should have been shipped from Rob Taurus today. With them are canopies for four other new releases (not whif related, and one for release next year). The other three were meant to be released at last year's show.

Thanks, Colin

As this is 20 years since I first traded at Telford (my 18th appearance in those 20 years, covid being the reason it isn't 20 out of 20), and with Martin's blessing, I'd like to give a small prize to the best Freightdog item on the What-If and Project Cancelled (R&D) SIG stands. I've done this a few times before, and in the past Mike McEvoy helped me judge. Normally we did two, one for most imaginative and one for best build. For this year's show Dominic McEvoy has kindly agreed to step in, and try and fill some very big shoes.

The winners will get a couple of resin sets each, I've leave the trophies to the IPMS, this will be very informal. Judging will take place on the Saturday afternoon. I look forward to catching up with you all at the show.

Thanks,
Colin

That's very good of you Colin - hats off to you.

Sadly I won't be at Telford again this year for various reasons, but I stand by what I said earlier: I will be buying several sets of both the SRAAMs and the Sabres as soon as they hit your website. I'd be up for Radar Red Tops too, if you could see your way clear to releasing them as a separate set.
