This will be the place for your general chit-chat regarding the Buccaneer, Harrier and Jaguar GB.

Well I have something planned for this but I don't know if I should enter going on my track record for completing entries.

I would have liked to take part in this GB, as I have one of each to go at, but the possibilty of moving house will put a stop to me building anything for a while

It's over 9 years since we last moved house, but the whole episode is still seared in our memories.    The only advice we can offer is make sure EVERYTHING is properly labelled, keep the box with the kettle, mugs, tea/coffee, sugar etc very easily available and remember,  all removal men work so much better if frequent brews and chocolate digestives are freely available!

Our best wishes  for both finding a new house and moving to it.

Cheers for the heads up , It has been 7 years since I last moved house and in that time accumulated a lot of "stuff" I sold off a lot of kits several years ago, when I wasn't in a good place mental health wise, but have slightly made up for that buying kits for my current build themes. Like you do.

Our best wishes  for both finding a new house and moving to it.

I have an Idea!

But no Plan! :-\

I'll see if I can find one in the (slowly) shrinking mess that is the Modelling Room. ;)

Pack the remotes with the device they operate.  Despite what you may think when packing at 2am the day before the removalists turn up It is not a good idea to put them in a biscuit tin full of pencils in the bottom of a box of office stuff.  You will not remember doing it and will not find them for a while.  Don't ask me how I know this.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

I have an idea for profiles...based on what I'd planned if the Falklands War GB had happened.

Was reading the rules section and Fred posted a very interesting post....as I wrote there..my brains all a tingle
A Mirage 2000 based Super Jaguar...already thought of its landing gear..nicked from a Mig27 as it's pretty close to a Jaguars gear ..wings I haven't thought of yet but maybe A-4 Skyhawks might work ...got a few of those as wrecks to play with now .

A kitbash of the Buccaneer and the Javelin is one idea, so is a kitbash using the Buccaneer and the de Havilland Sea Vixen twin boom tail. A Jaguar V/STOL ,the leftover parts could be used on the Harrier. Even some sort of launch vehicle or military train for the Harrier and Jaguar.
The obvious choice is the Jaguar M but I think that I have enough to get on with.

Nick

I'm thinking Harrier. Early Harrier. There's a long list of countries that looked closely at Harriers and even test flew them (or the Kestrel).
