Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Nor does the urban background.  Dollars to doughnuts, it was a stock backdrop, "suitable for all car model kits"

It's America Chris, they think differently there................  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

No, we don't...we're execeptional.  Short bus, window-lickingly exceptional, in most cases.

But that's what happens when some of the first, non-native permanent residents are intolerant religious nutters kicked out of every decent country in Europe.

Delivered today from Superhobby:

1x Red Fox 1/48 3D cockpit Quickset for Meng F/A-18E - This will be be mixed with the BAM models Block III resin set's Instrument Panel i received earlier this month so, i'll use the side panels from this set with the BAM IPs.
The unused bits will probably be used on the Revell kit i also have in the stash... either that or on a totally different kit.  ;D
And i'll still have a few screens left to use on something else cause the set has two of each screen to depict the IPs either ON or OFF.
The same happens with the F-35C and a few of their other 3D Cockpit sets which i think is a nice bonus, especially for us whiffers who will not have a problem to use them on something else for which it was not designed for...

The bigger bag on the left is of a Model Maker 1/48 F-16 "Falcon UP" fuselage strengthening plates which are vynil stickers.
These will be used on my current F-16 build because the PoAF Block 15 OCU airframes, which are the ones with the ADF bulged base tail, only have the plates on the wings, not on the fuselage like the older 1982/83 Block 15 airframes, which lacked the internal reinforcements that were built into the 1993 OCU airframes.

Won on eBay;
1/72 Rareplanes Lockheed Constellation SuperG/Warning Star
1/72 Academy Boeing 377

So the plan is to build something along the lines of the Lockheed Starliner, using the 377 wings, engines and landing gear. The middle tail fin will probably be the vertical tail fin from the 377. Resin parts from the spares bin, renamed the Lockheed Starlight Express II.

Sounds interesting! Will you paint it in airline colors? British I suppose?

I'll have to check if there's any Lockheed Constellation SuperG decals that includes windows.

Just scored a Hasegawa 1/48 GR Mk.5 Harrier Royal Air Force.
Turns out it's the Brits version of the AV-8B with changes made to suit RAF service..ejection seat..avionics and other stuff .
Sweet 😋
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

PR19_Kit

The GR5 was the first version of the 'Mk 2' Harrier to see service in the RAF, and to my mind the better looking. The later GR7s and 9s grew all sort of extra bumps and stuff, maybe more useful in a combat zone but not as good looking.

And the T10 trainer looks even better to my mind, but then a number of 2 seaters are nicer looking than their single seater counterparts.
