I saw something about painting yellow first then using the right size o ring as a mask.

Or using a drill on slow speed as a sort-of-lathe/painting aid-thing.

Though with yellow, you probably would be better to paint it first and then mask. Voice on Experience... :banghead:

Well, bombs are often very crudely painted in real life so, with all due respect, why bother with neatness? . After all, they ARE disposable..!! ;)  ;D . This being "whatifworld", you could always blame an (imaginary) lazy armourer...............!

Not sure if the o rings would be reusable.

I've had a look at my crap and o rings won't work as I've not got any anywhere small enough so I'll dry the drill idea 😅

😆 🤣 I like that idea but no  ;D

Least I can say all the weapons and the cockpit are done..all ive got to do is a little weathering ..a bit more detail painting..a wee wash and then it's done.

I've been painting up a Tamiya 1/16th scale figure of Rommel for a mate so have been trying not to make a total mess of it as im still crap at figures.
My mate's happy as hell with it so that's good..I'll post some pics of it when done .

Looking good. Truly impressive. Since I work in 1/72 most of the time cockpits are veeerrry difficult.
