Even with the conning tower, it looks like a spaceship - if Crusher Joe can have the Minerva with one, or Colonial One even, why not yours? 

And you don't see too many SeaQuests completed; not sure why, though. It's a shame, as it's a cool design. Throw some sculpted wings onto it and it's close to a White Star... Hmmm...

It is indeed a pig when it comes to fit. I had one mostly built a long time ago, but the join between
the upper and lower halves kept reopening. It was eventually binned.

This is looking pretty good.

As you can see, the intakes & exhausts/outlets are fitted & the cockpit gap has been roughed in.

The upper fin is only dry fitted for now because the next stage is Putty ... Lots & lots of Putty! ... Then Sand & Repeat, & I don't want to break it off a dozen times whilst I'm doing that.
